Like the silk that crossed deserts and seas, this collection has its roots in transit and cultural interchange. Inspired by the encounters between East and West woven along the Silk Road, Silken Code captures symbols, shapes, and textures that speak a deep and timeless shared language.
The pieces emerge as fragments of a millenarian journey: filigrees that evoke the carved screens of Persia, glints of gold that hark back to the hot sands of Kashgar, and designs with a lightness that recall the silk woven on the ancestral weaving houses of Suzhou, flowing like fabric in the wind.
Soft, luminous pearls whisper stories of Mediterranean crossings to us; deep reds fuse with the mystery of Samarkandian valleys, while the most intense stones seem to hold on to the frozen energy of the Altai mountains or the exuberant power of Mekong jungles. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

When that millenarian legacy reached the westernmost Mediterranean, it not only found a destination but also a mirror to reflect it. It was in Valencia, to be exact, a light-filled city, a door between cultures with a legacy of silk, where Salvatore Plata transformed this age-old heritage into an elegant and nuanced contemporary proposition. <\/span><\/p>\n

Silken Code is more than just a collection: it\u2019s an invisible map in which each piece conserves something of the journey, of the crossed gazes, of the secret shared between cultures.
